Buckwheat Blooms

Sloping Field of Buckwheat

Some of the first sections of buckwheat we planted are blooming. I tried to get some pictures of pollinators but it was pretty late in the day. Buckwheat nectar disappears by mid morning.

Still, it is encouraging to see some growth and greenery after all of the destruction we caused bulldozing. We have a long way to go to eliminate the worst of the invasive plants, but this is progress.
