Farmhouse Interior Renovation Begins

We have a great team that is working on the interior of the farmhouse to make it someplace comfortable to occupy.

Its turning into a slippery slope project where, the more we dig into and explore what is in the house the more projects we find.

Just today I made the determination that we were going to have to completely rewire the house. We went into the attic and discovered bare splices in the wire held together with nothing but black tape and a prayer. It is simply not worth the risk to leave anything like that in a place that where people will sleep.

The good news is that its a reasonably sized house and the electrical service entrance is close to the kitchen, so that is going to keep wiring costs down. The bad news is, now that we are completely rewiring the house, I am very tempted to make the entire property off grid. We'll see what happens
